Close friends of Kagney confirmed that the actress took her own life. In response to the tragic loss, a group of friends started a fundraising campaign on GoFundMe in the name of Tina, Kagney’s mother.

The campaign’s goal is to cover the costs of Kagney Linn Karter’s memorial services and burial. The target amount is $8,000, of which nearly $6,000 has already been raised.
The organizers of the GoFundMe campaign are owners of fitness studios in the Cleveland, OH area, frequented by Kagney. They highlighted that Kagney had started her own pole dance studio in Akron, being the first of its kind in the region. Any surplus funds collected will be donated to a local animal rescue charity, a wish expressed by Kagney herself.
